Investing in startup funds
The Bosch Group joined the High-Tech Startup Fund in January 2007. This fund, which is backed by industry, the KfW (reconstruction loan corporation) bank group, and the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, invests in new technology companies with a promising future. It not only provides them with the necessary startup capital, but also makes sure that the young managers get the supervision and support they need to be a success. With a one-off investment of 2.5 million euros, the Bosch Group wants to give young entrepreneurs the backing they need to translate good ideas into marketable products.
