Bosch has been working in the field of hybrid technology for 30 years. We are not just optimizing the combustion engine, but are also combining it with the electric motor. Hybrid concepts such as these allow us to leverage further potential for reducing CO2 emissions – by a good 25 percent with a gasoline hybrid and around 40 percent with a diesel hybrid. We have already been awarded the first contracts for both gasoline and diesel hybrids.
